I haven't played video games in a long time so things might have changed, but I just got an XBox One X with Battlefield 5 and am so disappointed to learn that I can't play this with my friends unless they have an account. My last reference is Halo for XBox 360 and most shooters back then came with a multiplayer options (campaign mode or versus). It's a bummer this doesn't.
Is this pretty typical for shooter games now not to have that option
